The transition to sustainable energy consumption is irreversible and of great importance to reducing emissions of hazardous substances. To make this transition possible, smart application of ICT is crucial. That is what we work on at Smart Energy.

Our mission is to adopt sustainable heating, to optimally facilitate energy systems and to accelerate the energy transition. Movements Group facilitates this by supplying smart hardware and software. Furthermore, with the aid of the Internet of Things and by combining various data sources, new business models and applications arise. These contribute to achieving the sustainability targets we have set ourselves as a population.

Awareness

We make consumers aware of their CO2 footprint and we demonstrate both private individuals and the housing sector the potential for saving. We do this by unlocking data sources and by making energy consumption transparent by means of sensors. We stimulate positive attitude, for example through gamification, and ensure the easiest savings (adjusting consumption) be realised.

Our advanced software will make a full calculation of a home’s best strategy to save and make it more sustainable. For example, we offer software matching installers and property information. Control of Equipment for Generation, Storage and Consumption

By mapping equipment for generation, storage and consumption of energy, we can reduce waste. For example, we control smart LEDs and develop controllers for heat pumps, pellet stoves and hybrid generators. It provides manufacturers of energy equipment with an efficiently controlled product with its own interface, which can be monitored remotely.

Dashboard and Information

We make consumption, generation and delivery of energy transparent. We do this using our own sensors as well as data sources such as EPEX and weather information. These data can be used for dashboards for e.g. EML, EPV and consumption monitoring or for predictive maintenance for installers.

Electricity Management

We manage generation, storage and consumption of electricity. We do this with our own actuators based on various data sources and sensors. The use of machine learning and artificial intelligence enables achieving predetermined targets. We combine different types of energy, thus creating hybrid solutions using load balancing and smart grids. In this way, we can prevent power grid overloads, as well as enforcement of connection points.
